"My Life Behind The Door" Exhibition
Step inside the world of caregiving. Be part of an immersive, eye-opening experience that brings the unseen realities of caregiving to life.
"My Life Behind The Door" is an interactive exhibition designed to shine a light on the often invisible realities of caregiving. In collaboration with NUS Tembusu College, this experience recreates a caregiver’s world, right down to the daily struggles many face behind closed doors.
Through a realistic living room setup and immersive activities, participants will:

Wear ageing simulation suits to understand physical limitations

Attempt common household tasks while navigating cluttered spaces

Experience the emotional and physical toll of caregiving first-hand
Each station fosters empathy, awareness, and action, reminding us that many caregivers, often seniors themselves, quietly sacrifice their time, rest, and careers to support someone they love.
